Golden Rishta — Private Matchmaking Office

Welcome to Golden Rishta, an independent private matchmaking office operated under GR Signature (SMC-Private) Limited, registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP CUIN: 0339351) and enrolled with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR NTN: J178321). By engaging our services — whether by making payment, registering a profile, or entering into any consultation — you agree to the following Terms & Conditions in full.

1. Nature of Services — Advisory, Not Outcome

Golden Rishta operates strictly as a private, human-led matchmaking advisory and facilitator. Our role is to identify, screen, and introduce potentially compatible families — not to guarantee a matrimonial outcome.

• Process-Based Service: Fees are charged for professional search, screening, advisory, and facilitation efforts — not for a guaranteed marriage outcome. The service is complete whether or not a match is finalised.
• No Guarantee of Outcome: We do not guarantee proposals, engagements, or marriages. Outcomes depend on mutual compatibility, family decisions, personal circumstances, and factors beyond our control.
• Non-Time Bound: Profile sharing is strictly based on the availability of genuinely compatible matches. We are not bound by daily, weekly, or monthly delivery timelines, and will not compromise on quality to meet artificial deadlines.
• Consultancy Role: We facilitate introductions only. Final decisions, independent verifications, and all outcomes remain solely the responsibility of the families involved.
• Force Majeure: See Section 10 for circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

2. Eligibility & Availability

• Adults Only: This service is available exclusively to adults aged 18 years and above. By engaging with Golden Rishta, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate any engagement where this condition is found not to be met, with no refund of fees paid.
• Real-Time Availability: All matchmaking is subject to the real-time availability of compatible profiles within our network. We do not manufacture or inflate our network artificially.
• Quality Over Quantity: We prioritise genuine compatibility over volume. We will never share irrelevant or unsuitable profiles to satisfy timelines or inflate activity metrics.
• Patience Required: If no suitable match is currently available, the Client agrees to wait, understanding that timelines cannot be guaranteed. We will communicate proactively if we foresee extended periods without a suitable introduction.
• Geographic Scope: Our service extends equally to clients based in Pakistan and to overseas Pakistani families across the UK, USA, UAE, Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and beyond.

3. Fees, Refund Policy & Activation

• 24-Hour Grace Period: Refund requests submitted within 24 hours of payment are considered, subject to a 10% administrative deduction from the amount paid. No further deductions apply within this window.
• Post-Activation Policy: After 24 hours, or once internal processing begins (whichever occurs first), all fees become strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of the reason for withdrawal.
• Process-Based Payment: Fees are charged for professional effort, consultation, and facilitation — not for results. No refund applies in any of the following circumstances:
  • No suitable match is found during the engagement period
  • The Client voluntarily withdraws from the process
  • The Client finds a match independently or through another source
  • The Client is dissatisfied with the introductions made
  • Service is terminated due to breach of these Terms
• Liability Cap: In all circumstances, Golden Rishta's maximum liability to any Client shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by that Client to Golden Rishta in connection with the relevant engagement.
• Fee Confirmation: Full fee details, tier structures, and pricing are set out at goldenrishta.pk/services#service-prices. Fees confirmed at the time of registration apply for the duration of that engagement.

4. Verification & Liability Disclaimer

• Information Reliance: Golden Rishta relies on information provided by clients and third parties. While we make reasonable efforts to assess and corroborate information shared with us, we do not conduct formal legal investigations, financial audits, criminal background checks, or physical surveillance.
• No Guarantee of Accuracy: We do not guarantee the accuracy, authenticity, completeness, or currency of any profile data or information provided by any party.
• Client Responsibility: Clients must conduct their own independent due diligence and verification before making any commitment — whether emotional, financial, or legal. Golden Rishta's introduction of a family is not an endorsement of any claims made by that family.
• Limitation of Liability: Golden Rishta, its founder, consultants, and staff are not responsible for any fraud, misrepresentation, financial loss, emotional harm, disputes, or outcomes arising before, during, or after any introduction or marriage facilitated through our service.
• Third-Party Actions: We accept no liability for the conduct, representations, or actions of any third party introduced through our service.

5. Non-Circumvention & Success Fee

• No Bypass: Clients shall not contact, communicate with, or pursue any party introduced through Golden Rishta by circumventing our office. All communication during the introduction phase must be coordinated through us unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
• Success Fee Obligation: The Success Fee remains payable in full if a match is finalised — whether through our direct facilitation or following an introduction we made, regardless of where or how the finalisation occurs.
• Trigger Events: The Success Fee becomes due upon formal engagement, nikah, or any written or verbal agreement to marry between the introduced parties.
• Reporting Obligation: Clients are required to inform Golden Rishta promptly upon reaching any of the above trigger events. Non-disclosure does not extinguish the Success Fee obligation.

6. Code of Conduct & Termination

• Zero Tolerance: Any misbehaviour, harassment, disrespect, or threatening conduct directed toward our consultants, staff, or other clients will result in the immediate and permanent termination of service without notice.
• Prohibited Data Use: Sharing, distributing, forwarding, or storing profiles, images, personal data, or any information received through our service — to any third party or for any purpose outside the matchmaking process — is strictly prohibited and may constitute a legal offence.
• Honest Representation: Clients must ensure that all information provided to Golden Rishta is accurate, complete, and not misleading. Providing false information is grounds for immediate termination.
• Right to Refuse: Golden Rishta reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate service to any client at our sole discretion, to protect the integrity, safety, and reputation of our network and the families we serve.
• No Refund on Misconduct: Termination resulting from any breach of this Code of Conduct results in the forfeiture of all fees paid, with no right of refund.

7. Confidentiality & Data Protection

• Strict Confidentiality: All profiles, personal information, and details shared through our service are treated with complete confidentiality. There is no public profile database — your information is visible only to families we have personally assessed as a potential match.
• Need-to-Know Basis: Personal data is shared internally only among the consultants and staff directly handling your engagement, and externally only with prospective matching families — and only with your awareness at each stage.
• Deletion Obligation: If a match is not pursued following an introduction, the Client must promptly delete all personal information, images, and data received in connection with that introduction.
• Data Retention: Golden Rishta retains client data for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period thereafter, as required for administrative and legal purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

• All systems, processes, methodologies, content, branding, and materials produced or operated by Golden Rishta are the exclusive proprietary property of GR Signature (SMC-Private) Limited.
• Clients may not reproduce, copy, adapt, or use any Golden Rishta materials, branding, or process frameworks without prior written consent.
• Feedback, suggestions, or reviews provided by clients may be used by Golden Rishta for service improvement, marketing, or testimonial purposes, in anonymised or attributed form as agreed.

9. Cultural & Religious Acknowledgment

Golden Rishta acknowledges and respects that marriage is a deeply personal, cultural, and religious matter. Our process is conducted in accordance with Islamic values — including principles of dignity, modesty, and family involvement — and with deep respect for the traditions of the families we serve.

However, outcomes remain subject to individual choice, mutual compatibility, family decisions, and circumstances beyond our control. No representation is made that any introduction will result in a marriage, and no religious authority or guarantee is implied by our facilitation.

10. Force Majeure

Golden Rishta shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government action or regulation, public health emergencies, telecommunications or internet failures, or any other event that could not reasonably have been foreseen or prevented.

In such circumstances, we will notify clients as soon as reasonably practicable and resume normal service as soon as it is possible to do so.

11. Amendments to These Terms

Golden Rishta reserves the right to update, amend, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time, at our sole discretion. The current version of these Terms will always be published at goldenrishta.pk/terms, with the effective date clearly indicated at the top of the page.

Continued engagement with our services — including continued registration, active participation in the matchmaking process, or any new payment — following the publication of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those updated Terms in full. If you do not agree to any update, you should discontinue engagement and notify us in writing.

12. Jurisdiction & Legal Governance

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute, claim, or matter arising from or in connection with these Terms or our services shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.

Clients based overseas acknowledge that by engaging with Golden Rishta, they accept the application of Pakistani law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Lahore courts to any dispute arising from their engagement.

13. Binding Acceptance

By making any payment to Golden Rishta, registering a profile, or engaging in any consultation or communication in furtherance of our services, the Client confirms and warrants that they:

• Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions in full;
• Are aged 18 years or above;
• Are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
• Agree to be bound by these Terms, including the non-refundable nature of fees and the limitation of liability set out above;
• Have provided accurate and complete information to Golden Rishta.
