Our registered office is at 718 Topaz Parkview, Parkview City, Lahore, Punjab 54000, Pakistan.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Golden Rishta", "we", "us", and "our" refer to GR Signature (SMC-Private) Limited and its consultants. "You" and "Client" refer to any individual or family who contacts, registers with, or engages our matchmaking service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information that is genuinely necessary to provide our matchmaking service. We do not collect data speculatively or beyond what the service requires.

• Personal & Contact Details: Your name, phone number, email address, city or country of residence, and — where relevant — nationality.
• Family & Background Information: Educational background, profession, family details, religious values, lifestyle preferences, and any other information you choose to share during consultation and registration. This information is shared by you voluntarily.
• Identity Verification: Where required to confirm the accuracy of information provided, we may request basic identity documentation such as a CNIC or passport copy. This is held securely and used only for verification purposes.
• Communication Records: Records of consultations, messages, emails, and correspondence with our team, maintained for the purpose of managing your engagement and ensuring continuity of service.
• Payment Information: Confirmation of fee payments for administrative and legal record-keeping. We do not store card numbers or full payment details — these are processed through secure third-party channels.
• Website Usage Data: Standard technical data collected automatically when you visit our website, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time on site. See Section 6 for details.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively for the purpose of providing our matchmaking and advisory service. We do not use it for any other purpose.

• Matchmaking & Introductions: To assess compatibility between you and other registered families, and to arrange introductions where a genuine potential match exists.
• Profile Verification: To confirm the accuracy of information provided by all parties within our network before any introduction is made. Verification protects every client equally.
• Consultation & Communication: To keep you informed about your engagement, respond to your queries, coordinate introductions, and provide the ongoing advisory support our service involves.
• Administrative & Legal Purposes: To maintain accurate records of engagements, fees paid, and communications — as required for our legitimate business operations and any applicable legal obligations.
• No Marketing Use: Your information is never used for advertising, marketing, or promotional purposes — by us or by any third party. We do not send unsolicited communications.
• No Sale of Data: Your personal information is never sold, rented, or transferred to any external organisation for any commercial purpose whatsoever.

4. Confidentiality & Disclosure

Confidentiality is the foundation of our service. Every member of our team operates under a strict obligation of confidentiality, and we apply the same standard to every client regardless of their engagement tier.

• Controlled Sharing — Potential Matches Only: Your profile and personal details are shared only with families who are a genuine potential match for you — and only with your awareness and consent at each stage of the introduction process. We do not share your details speculatively.
• No Public Directory: Golden Rishta does not maintain any publicly accessible profile database. Your information is never published, listed, searchable online, or visible to anyone outside our private process.
• Internal Access Only: Within our organisation, your information is accessible only to the consultants and team members directly responsible for managing your engagement. It is not accessible to the wider organisation.
• Legal Disclosure: We may disclose client information if required to do so by the laws of Pakistan — for example, in response to a valid court order or law enforcement request. We will disclose only the minimum information legally required and, where legally permissible, will notify you of any such request.
• No Third-Party Commercial Sharing: Your data is never shared with advertisers, data brokers, research organisations, or any third party for commercial purposes.

5. Data Security & Storage

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

• Secure Storage: Client information is stored securely with access restricted to authorised team members only. Physical and digital records are maintained with appropriate controls.
• Confidentiality Obligations: All team members involved in client engagements are bound by contractual and professional confidentiality obligations.
• Data Retention: We retain your personal information for the duration of your engagement with us and for a reasonable period thereafter, as required for legitimate administrative and legal purposes. This is typically no longer than three years following the conclusion of an engagement, unless a longer period is required by law.
• Deletion on Request: You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us in writing. Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will securely delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records.
• Limitation of Absolute Security: No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security against every possible breach or unauthorised access. See Section 9 for our liability position.

6. Cookies & Website Data

When you visit goldenrishta.pk, standard technical data is collected automatically by our website hosting infrastructure. This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs.

• Purpose: This data is used solely for website performance monitoring, technical troubleshooting, and understanding how visitors navigate our site. It is not linked to your personal identity and is not used for targeted advertising.
• Cookies: Our website may use essential cookies required for the website to function correctly. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels for marketing purposes.
• Analytics: If we use web analytics tools, data collected is aggregated and anonymised — it does not identify you as an individual.
• Your Control: You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain parts of our website.

7. Children & Minors

Our service is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will delete that information promptly.

• Right to Withdraw Consent: Where our use of your information is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before the withdrawal.
• Right to Object: You may object to specific uses of your personal information at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

Golden Rishta takes reasonable steps to protect your information and treats confidentiality as a core professional obligation. However, no method of storage or electronic transmission is entirely free from risk, and we cannot guarantee absolute security against all possible unauthorised access or data breaches.

In all circumstances, Golden Rishta's maximum liability in connection with any privacy or data matter shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by the Client to Golden Rishta in connection with the relevant engagement. We shall not be liable for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to third-party data breaches, cyberattacks, or technical failures outside our systems.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal obligations, or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be published on this page at goldenrishta.pk/privacy, with the effective date updated at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued engagement with our services following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. If a change materially affects how we handle your personal information, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active clients directly.
