Refund Policy
Golden Rishta — Private Matchmaking Office
At Golden Rishta, our engagement model is structured as a private,
professional consultancy. All fees are charged for professional time, expertise, research, screening,
and personalised matchmaking advisory — not for guaranteed outcomes. Please read this policy carefully
before making any payment.

1. Nature of Professional Fees
All payments made to Golden Rishta constitute compensation for professional services
rendered — including but not limited to time spent in consultation, profile research and assessment,
network search, verification activity, and personalised matchmaking advisory. The client engages
Golden Rishta as a professional advisory office, not as a results-based or success-guaranteed
arrangement.
This is consistent with any professional advisory service — a consultant's fee covers their time
and expertise, regardless of whether every engagement produces the specific outcome the client
hoped for. Work begins from the moment of engagement, and fees reflect that work.

By making payment, the client confirms they have reviewed and accepted the applicable fee structure.
2. The 24-Hour Grace Period
We provide a strictly limited review window to allow clients a final opportunity to reconsider
before their engagement is activated.
- Eligibility Window: Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the time of payment. Requests received after this window will not be considered under any circumstances.
- Written Request Required: All refund requests must be submitted in writing — by email to info@goldenrishta.pk or by WhatsApp message with written confirmation. Verbal requests are not accepted.
- Administrative Deduction: All approved refunds within the 24-hour window are subject to a mandatory 10% administrative deduction, covering onboarding, verification setup, and operational costs incurred from the moment of registration.
- Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 14 working days of approval confirmation.
- Non-Transferable: Refunds are returned to the original payment source only. They cannot be credited to another account or applied toward a future engagement.
3. Post-Activation Non-Refundability
Upon expiry of the 24-hour window — or upon initiation of internal processing, profile activation,
research, or matchmaking activity (whichever occurs first) — all fees become final and fully earned.
- All fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable after this point, regardless of the reason for any subsequent withdrawal or request.
- The commencement of professional work — including any internal research, network search, or profile preparation — constitutes activation, even if no introduction has yet been made.
- Golden Rishta's maximum liability in any circumstance is capped at the total fees actually paid by the client in connection with the relevant engagement.
4. Specific Circumstances — No Refund Applies
For the avoidance of doubt, no refund of any kind is applicable — whether in full or in part —
in any of the following circumstances:
- No suitable match is identified during the engagement period
- The client voluntarily withdraws from the matchmaking process at any stage
- The client finds a match independently or through another source during the engagement period
- The client is dissatisfied with the introductions made, the timeline, or the conduct of the process
- A match is identified but not pursued by either family
- The client's personal circumstances change during the engagement period
- The service is terminated by Golden Rishta due to breach of our Terms & Conditions or Code of Conduct
- The client fails to respond to communications, introductions, or consultant contact within a reasonable time
5. Conduct, Ethics & Termination
Golden Rishta maintains a strict code of professional conduct aligned with confidentiality,
honesty, and mutual respect. All clients are expected to uphold these standards throughout
their engagement.
- Grounds for Termination: We reserve the right to terminate services immediately in cases of misconduct, harassment, misrepresentation of information, disrespect toward our team or other clients, or breach of confidentiality obligations.
- Fee Forfeiture: Termination under any of the above conditions results in the immediate and permanent forfeiture of all fees paid, with no right of refund and no credit toward any future engagement.
- Data Misuse: Any use, distribution, or retention of profiles, personal data, or information received through our service — beyond the purpose for which it was shared — is a breach of our Terms and grounds for immediate termination without refund.
6. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
By engaging our services, the client acknowledges that all payments are made for professional
work that is allocated and begins immediately upon registration. Fees are earned progressively
from the moment of engagement.
- Chargeback Prohibition: Any unauthorised chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute filed with a financial institution — without prior written agreement from Golden Rishta — constitutes a material breach of our Terms & Conditions.
- Legal Remedies: In the event of an unauthorised chargeback or reversal attempt, Golden Rishta reserves the right to pursue all appropriate legal remedies available under the jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan, including recovery of the disputed amount plus any associated costs and damages.
- Legitimate Disputes: If you believe a payment has been made in error or without your authorisation, contact us immediately at info@goldenrishta.pk before initiating any bank or card dispute. We will review all genuine cases fairly and promptly.
7. How to Submit a Refund Request
If you wish to request a refund within the 24-hour grace period, please follow the process below:
- Step 1: Send a written refund request by email to info@goldenrishta.pk within 24 hours of your payment time.
- Step 2: Include your full name, contact number, payment amount, payment date and time, and the reason for your request.
- Step 3: Our team will acknowledge your request within one working day and confirm whether it falls within the eligible window.
- Step 4: Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 14 working days, with a 10% administrative deduction applied to the refunded amount.

8. Amendments to This Policy
Golden Rishta reserves the right to update or amend this Refund Policy at any time, at our
sole discretion. The current version will always be published at
goldenrishta.pk/refund-policy, with the
effective date clearly indicated at the top of this page. Continued engagement with our services
following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
9. Binding Acceptance
By making any payment to Golden Rishta — whether online, by bank transfer, or by any other
means — the client confirms that they have read and understood this Refund Policy in full,
and that they agree to be bound by its terms, including the non-refundable nature of fees
following the 24-hour grace period.
This policy forms part of, and should be read alongside, our full
Terms & Conditions.
In the event of any inconsistency between this Refund Policy and the Terms & Conditions,
the Terms & Conditions shall prevail.
